Biographical Information
Dr. Scarlett Walston was born and raised in Greenville, North Carolina. She attended George Mason University, where she was a member of the Varsity Women’s Tennis Team. She graduated with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Business. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine. While at ECU, she was an active member of the American Student Dental Association, Dental Student Government, and the student chapters of the Special Care Dentistry Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. After graduating from Dental School, she chose to further her education by pursuing a General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. During her residency, she obtained vast experience in providing comprehensive care to medically complex patients and patients with special needs in both the operating room and the outpatient clinic setting. She has continued to stay involved with organized dentistry and is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Dental Education Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, the East Central Dental Society, and the Special Care Dentistry Association. Her passion for treating patients with special needs has been reinforced by her experiences, and she looks forward to continuing to grow in this profession. She is excited to call Greenville home again. She enjoys spending time with family, reading, traveling, and baking.
