Biographical Information
Dr. Tucker was born and raised in Ayden, N.C. She graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a bachelor’s in chemistry and earned a DDS from Howard University College of Dentistry. After earning her DDS, she completed residencies in general practice and pediatric dentistry at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in the Bronx, New York.
Dr. Tucker returned to North Carolina after completing her residencies. She practiced in the piedmont triad area for thirteen years. She joined the faculty at the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics.
Dr. Tucker has one five-year-old daughter, Gia. Some of Dr. Tucker’s interests include line dancing, reading, learning to crochet and healthy living. She is excited to be home closer to her family.
