Office of Research – Training

Faculty, students, residents and staff (investigators) must complete specific training before initiating and conducting research per federal, state and institutional regulations.

All investigators must complete training requirements for Conflicts of Interest (COI) and Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR).

 All investigators conducting research with patients or human subjects must complete CITI (Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative training. For assistance with CITI training, please contact Ms. Keyla Acosta Rodriguez, Clinical/Social Research Specialist in the Clinical Research Center at 252-737-7126 or acostarodriguezk17@ecu.edu.

Investigators wanting access to Ross Hall Basic Science Laboratory facilities (including the Correlative Light Electron Microscopy or CLEM facility) must complete Laboratory Safety training with the Office Manager.
