Research Activities
Advances in healthcare occur as an outcome of questioning the status quo and investigating scientifically-based alternatives. It is essential to improve oral health through research, and at the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine faculty are providing research mentorship to dental and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and visiting scholars. Under the guidance of faculty, trainees pursue research and generate new knowledge that can be translated to clinical practice.
