Compliance Hotline

The primary purpose of the School of Dental Medicine’s (SoDM) Compliance Hotline, accessible either via telephone (1.855.737.1846 or local 737.7234), or via email at sodmcompliance@ecu.edu, is to provide a means for faculty, staff, agents, and volunteers of the SoDM to report any activity or conduct which he/she suspects is not in compliance with the SoDM’s Compliance Program, the Code of Conduct, federal and state laws or regulations applicable to health care providers. Information received through the Compliance Hotline will be used to investigate and verify the existence of noncompliance and allow SoDM the opportunity to correct any noncompliant conduct or behavior that is identified.

Privacy Practices

East Carolina University’s Health Care Components are committed to protecting the privacy of the health information we keep regarding our patients. We handle health information as required by state and federal laws. This Notice of Privacy Practices (Prácticas de Privacidad) describes our efforts in complying with these and how we can use and disclose your health information. It also describes certain rights that you have about your health information kept by us. Please look at it with care.
