Hospital Dentistry is a full-service dental facility specializing in the treatment of medically complex patients who require dental care. Typically, patients are referred by ECU Health Medical Center medical providers, East Carolina University physicians, and private practice dentists.
Hospital Dentistry provides comprehensive and emergency dental treatment for all, but our faculty, residents and staff are especially well trained to provide full-service dental care for patients with cardiovascular conditions, head and neck cancer, patients who have or will have organ transplantation and patients with other acute or chronic medical conditions.
