Biographical Information
Dr. Gretchen Gorman-Lyden earned a DDS from Georgetown University School of Dentistry. Her undergraduate studies in Chemistry-Biology were done at University of the Pacific. She owned and operated a private dental office for over 28 years in Rochester, NY, providing general and cosmetic dental care to patients of all ages. Dr. Gorman-Lyden has travelled to Belize and Haiti on multiple dental missions, providing dental care in underserved areas.
Dr. Gorman-Lyden was born and raised in Southern California. After graduating from dental school, she and her husband, James Lyden DDS, moved to Rochester, NY. It was there that they opened their private dental practice and raised 2 lovely daughters, Anika and Carly Lyden. In 2017, Dr. Gorman-Lyden and her husband sold their practice and relocated to the warmth of Kure Beach, NC. On her days off, Dr. Gorman-Lyden enjoys time on the beach with family and friends, and her dog, Junior. She is very pleased to be able to use her 32 years of clinical experience to help prepare students to be exceptional dentists.
