Clinical Research Center
The ECU School of Dental Medicine Clinical Research Center is comprised of a patient reception area, four operatories equipped for complex dental procedures, including surgery, and two open bays. Operatories are equipped with state-of-the-art digital imaging units. The specimen preparation room contains a biosafety hood, and -80 freezer, and refrigerated centrifuge. The Clinical Research Center is in close proximity to the school’s Special Needs Clinic and Comprehensive Care Clinic, facilitating dental patient participation in research.
