Dental care in the Advanced Dentistry Suite is provided by residents in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program in conjunction with faculty. The residents have completed dental school and are gaining additional experience in general dentistry. School of Dental Medicine faculty members supervise treatment provided by residents.

The suite also includes treatment areas for emergency care, endodontics, and oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Patients of Record may call 252-737-7832 to schedule an appointment in the Resident Clinic. If you are a new adult patient, please call 252-737-7834 to schedule a screening appointment.

Office Entrance

The Resident Clinic (Advanced Dentistry Suite) is located on the first floor of Ledyard E. Ross Hall. The clinic is near the Macgregor Downs Road entrance to the building.

Parking

Parking at Ledyard E. Ross Hall is handy, free, and easy. Patients are asked to park on the MacGregor Downs Road side of the building in areas designated as Patient Parking.

Wheelchairs

Wheelchairs are available upon request at the reception desk at the Main Entrance of Ledyard E. Ross Hall.

Fees and Payment

Our financial policy permits us to offer the best treatment options available and will not limit your oral health just to what your dental insurance plan covers.

We will be happy to send your insurance paperwork in electronic format for you in the course of treatment. Should you have any questions or concerns about your insurance policy, please contact us or your insurance carrier for more information. Any amount not covered by your insurance is the patient’s responsibility.

We accept several forms of payment for your convenience. We accept cash as well as VISA, MasterCard and Discover credit cards. We also offer payment plans.
