Sponsored by the Dental Student Government, the annual SoDM Volunteer Day found some of our D2 students coming together to better our community.

Rachel Nguyen, Laurin Williams, Yushan Xie and Kaylee Flannigan worked to clean up our sponsored road – B’s BBQ Road. Emerson Alexander, Alex Yang, John Yang, Ben Thomas and Britney Nichols prepared 45 lasagna meals for the families at the Ronald McDonald House near ECU Health Medical Center.

Last Friday, we welcomed members of the future Class of 2029 to our Molar Mingle event. This event is designed to help our students get to know one another even before they become officially enrolled later this year.

Dr. Azeez Aileru, bottom left, celebrates a soccer goal as part of the Dis’ class. This ‘exercise’ helps students to understand the impacts of cardio workouts on the body. We love the hands-on experiences our faculty provide for the students.
