Dr. Geralyn Crain is appointed Interim Assistant Vice Chancellor for Interprofessional Collaboration

Dr. Geralyn Crain, assistant dean for educational support and faculty development at the ECU School of Dental Medicine, has been appointed interim assistant vice chancellor for interprofessional collaboration for the ECU Division of Health Sciences effective February 8, 2016. The appointment was made by Vice Chancellor for Health Sciences Phyllis Horns.

Dr. Crain is working with a leadership team at ECU to explore next steps to promote and support interprofessional practice, learning, research and service among faculty and students in the Division of Health Sciences. She is passionate about the need to cultivate a team based, patient-centered approach in order to enhance the patient experience, improve health and lower costs.
